Pandora the pusher
One of the latest phenomenon’s in internet applications is the website PANDORA. Pandora lets you enter the name of an artist or song and it will find similar artists or songs based on your tastes … or so it says.
In actuality, Pandora is a music PUSHER put in place by the MUSIC MOGULS. Pandora is designed to make you listen to songs that you have no desire to hear in an effort to push music that is either owned or supported by the powers that be. And they cover this over by using a mass of abstruse, labyrinthine, or recondite phrasing to explain their incongruous choice of music.
For example, look at how Pandora explains their “reason” for playing a particular song:
“Based on what you’ve told us so far, we’re playing this track because it features mellow rock instrumentation, folk influences, a subtle use of vocal harmony, mild rythmic syncopation and mixed acoustic electric instrumentation.”
This of course makes us confused and we just say “OK”. There is only one solution: JUST SAY NO (to Pandora’s pushing).

I have also been suspicious of Online Dating Services like match.com and feel they use the same tactics.
i.e., Due to the women you have previsouly dated we are presenting you with a statuesque blonde with a non-descript personality that at times may have mood altering swings at the drop of a sombrero. In addition she likes to take extended walkabouts down paths you never dreamed you’d have to go down and engage in conversation you never thought you would need to engage. All the while shrouding you with the unspoken physical threat of bodily harm if you show the slightest hint of breaking up with her…
